"Wow! the steaks were amazing! had beer cheese soup for the first time and it was delicious. husband and I had rib eyes and they were cooked and seasoned perfectly. They come with soup and salad. I had German potatoes for the first time and they were also delicious. the combination of diced potatoes and the cool creamy cucumber salad on top was delightful. honestly you cannot go wrong here. portions are huge! everyone was so friendly and kind to us. certainly worth a 45 min drive here. we are looking to going back and trying new dishes. we believe in supporting local businesses and can't imagine going to a chain steakhouse restaurant after discovering this restaurant. I highly recommend this family owned restaurant."

"We just had dinner there tonight. The food was good as usual but tonight was the most exceptional service I have ever had. Crystal was BUSY, covering a lot of tables and the bar but she didn't miss a beat. She was able to make conversation with us while making drinks (we sat at the bar), made us feel like we were at home with a good friend. I haven't had that kind of service out to eat in a LONG time so I had to make sure the owners knew that she is by far a keeper. I've worked in many areas, management for a corporate company, owning my own business, there are employees that you just do not let go and she is by far one of them that I would sink my claws into to make sure she is happy and stays. People all around the place were laughing and smiling with her. It was fun to observe her. In this workforce, that girl is a very very rare gem! She made our experience top notch. We could've sat there all night and visited with her. At one point my husband asked me if I knew her because she just made conversation THAT easy, it's like we had been friends forever. Hats off to finding her, highly suggest doing everything to keep her."

"We had lunch and were so impressed with the food and owner, Mindy, that we came back for dinner. For lunch, their Reubens are the best ever and jalapeno popper were the best we've ever had. We had their prime rib for dinner and it was prepared to perfection. So the food is worth the drive from Bismarck or Minot! But the most impressive at this establishment is the owner Mindy!!! She has charisma plus and made sure to personally engage with everyone there. Mindy has the personality to make each person feel special and welcome. Our family absolutely loved our visits there and will be back soon!"

"Phenomenal food at the Cole harbor bar and grill. Tried prime rib sandwich with coleslaw and potato veges, all homemade and delicious also shrimp Alfredo (everything made from scratch) with creamy gnocchi dumplings potatoes and carrots, and soup, everything is delicious and melting in your mouth. Great drinks. Highly recommend to visit. Friendly atmosphere and fast service. The bar has gaming machines and outdoor patio for summer time. Go check it out for yourself. Bring your kids too"

"We were working in the area and decided to stop in on a whim......so glad we did! The owner was incredibly welcoming, the steak was absolutely massive and tasted amazing, the drinks were ice cold, and the dessert hit the spot. On top of it all, the atmosphere and company made it even better. Definitely recommend stopping here if you get the chance! And dont let her fool you....there is ice cream hiding in the freezer!"

"We were camping at Sakakawea, came for lunch and were blown away by the food and service. The owner, Mindy, was so kind and personable. We came back for steak night and had prime rib, which was the best we've had at any restaurant. Will be making a special trip just for this place!"
